N.L. “Jinxie” Gervasio is a creator and destroyer of worlds, the Yellow Brigade Commander on the Zombie Survival Crew, and is a multi-talented woman with many opinions on multiple subjects. Namely, the rules inherent during any sort of apocalypse, but most especially a Zombiepocalypse.
She has discovered that she’s quite good at the romance thing–writing it, that is. Some of her novels include vampires and werewolves; others include zombies and demons and angels. She has completed several novels and has several others at various stages of completion. One tends to write a lot of crap before they get to the gems, and Jinxie’s written a lot of crap. She hopes you never find it, but chances are you will.
Jinxie has been a writer for several years and an editor for a few. She co-founded Running Ink Press and Forever Nocturne e-zine with Sharon Gerlach, but has since resigned from RIP while continuing taking over the e-zine. Jinxie is now CEO and founder of Just Ink Press, a family owned and operated publishing house, reviews books in her spare time, of which she rarely has any, and she requires entirely too much caffeine and nicotine (she quit smoking, or at least keeps trying) to function throughout the night (she’s nocturnal). You’ll find her the most on Twitter, tweeting into the early morning hours, or Facebook, annoying the hell out of people with her posts, most of which she steals from others (the memes, people).
Jinxie was born on Friday the 13th. Her dad wanted to call her Jinx. Her mom said no. It took 34 years for her to discover the nickname, and she’s grown quite attached to it. She lives in Tempe, AZ with Umi (her mother), whom she cares for. She enjoys riding her beach cruiser “The Betty” around downtown Tempe, loves a good pub crawl, and has had the pleasure and the heartache of experiencing a love far greater than she could have ever imagined.
