Crazy Meatballs

This is more of an appetizer than a meal, but it’s great for pot lucks and very popular.

You will need:

1-2 lb. package of frozen meatballs (Italian can work, but plain is best)

2 cans of Hot Hormel Chili no beans

1 32oz. jar of Grape jelly

Yes, the jelly always throws people off.

I cook this in a crock pot and the time can vary to whatever you need depending on the temperature you cook it. I put the meatballs in the crock pot, dump the jelly over the top and then both cans of chili. Then I turn it on medium and walk away from it for a while so the mix can heat up and the chili and jelly can seep down over the meatballs. Stir occasionally after that and cook on medium-high for about two to three hours. It’s done when the meatballs are hot inside. This requires a lot of taste-testing.

Enjoy!
