RAID kills scorpions too!!!! Kitty killed one the other night, thankfully outside. This was the most common of the scorpion species here – the Arizona Bark Scorpion. This guy was less than two inches long and had a semi-translucent body. That means his poison is deadlier. In other words, for someone like me, who has a compromised immune system, not good news. He’d probably kill me.
I’ve also seen two more damn centipedes – adult and baby – but have been unable to kill them yet because those little bastards are quick.
And I’ve learned the bugs that Kitty and I have been calling “beetles” are actually a “kissing” bug or something; not necessarily beetles, but whatever. It’s still a beetle apocalypse in my book.
Killed one wolf spider this week, right on the front door blocking Kitty from entering the house.
Aside from that, the moths, gnats and flies are annoying the hell out of me.
0.o Too many insects. Hate Arizona. Stoopid desert.
